A full-time professional auctioneer since 1979, Steve Van Gordon is the owner of Steve Van Gordon Company, LLC, specializing in selling real estate and personal property in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Utah, North Dakota, and more.  His executive office is located in Canby, Oregon. 

From 1979 - 2004, he owned and operated Team Van Gordon Auctioneers, Inc., Oregon’s largest auction company selling real estate, commercial/industrial machinery, autos, tools and equipment, and personal property throughout the west.   In October of 2004 he became affiliated with Tranzon LLC and operated as Tranzon Van Gordon in Oregon and Tranzon Van Gordon/Musick in Idaho.  In January of 2009 he left Tranzon and formed Steve Van Gordon Company, LLC.  Steve Van Gordon has been in the real estate business since July of 1978 and has been an Oregon Real Estate Broker since January of 1983.  He specializes in selling commercial and residential property through the auction marketing method.

Steve has belonged to the Oregon Auctioneers Association since 1980 and has served two terms as President of the Association and as Chairman of the Board.  In 1991 he was the Oregon State Grand Champion Auctioneer.  Steve has also been a member of The National Auctioneers Association since 1981 and served as a Director of the NAA from 1996 through 1999.  Steve was inducted into the Oregon Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame in March of 2008 and is presently a Director of the Association.

He has conducted numerous benefit and fun-raising auctions, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Hemophilia Association, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Ducks Unlimited, Wildlife Heritage Foundation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and local worthy causes, including fund raising events for churches, Canby High School projects and various Rotary Clubs in the Northwest.
