1. PARKING: Arrive early at the auction site - parking may be limited.
2. BE PREPARED: Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather. Bring a pen or pencil for making notes on your catalog.
3. REGISTRATION: Bring photo ID (i.e. driver’s license). We will require your name, address, phone number, and driver’s license number in order to register and receive a bidding number. There is no charge for registering.
4. LOTS: Most of our auctions are catalogued. Each item to be sold will have a numbered tag and everything will be sold in lot number order.
5. PREVIEW: It is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the items carefully prior to bidding. Everything will be sold “As Is, and Where Is”.
6. BUYER’S PREMIUM: This is a percentage added to your bid amount. Buyer’s Premiums are used by many auctioneers as a way of spreading the cost of the event with the people who benefit most from the opportunity to purchase; the buyer. It is an amount added to the high bid in addition to the high bid and payable by the buyer. We charge a 10% Buyer’s Premium on purchases paid by cash or check. For credit card or bank wire transactions, the Buyer’s Premium is 13%. Please keep this in mind when bidding.
7. PAYMENT: We accept cash, checks, cashier’s checks, credit cards (Visa/MC), and bank wire transactions. The total of the purchase price is to be paid in full on auction day.
8. ANNOUNCEMENTS: The auctioneer will provide an opening statement at the beginning of the auction. Any announcements made by the Auctioneer on auction day will take precedence over the contents of the catalog.
9. REMOVAL: It is the buyer’s responsibility to secure their own purchases and remove all items in the allotted time. You may load or set aside small items immediately after winning the bid in order to avoid loss, and pay for everything after you’ve finished bidding. All items must be removed by the removal time stated in the catalog. Items left after this date will be considered abandoned and will be resold, unless the Buyer has made prior arrangements with the owners.
